Wi-Fi terms of use
and the use of internet access as well as a disclaimer of liability and warranties
These Terms (hereinafter “Terms”) govern the provision and use of internet access via a wireless Wi-Fi network (hereinafter the “Service”) operated by ADRIA – NEPTUN, spol. s r.o., with its registered office at Václavské náměstí 784/26, Company ID: 40766519, VAT ID: CZ40766519 (hereinafter the “Provider”), within its premises and facilities.
- Definition of User
- These Terms of Use and disclaimers apply to every user of the Service (hereinafter the “User”) and apply to any use of the Provider’s Wi-Fi network.
- Use of the Service
- The Provider is entitled to assign a network name (Name) and access password (Login/Password) for providing the Service for internet access. The Wi-Fi network always has a name (Name) at the Provider’s premises. In the case of a password-protected service, the password (Login/Password) and network name (Name) are available to the User at the Provider’s premises (at the reception/from staff).
- The Service is provided to the User free of charge and is intended exclusively for personal and non-commercial use during the User’s stay or visit to the Provider’s premises.
- The User is obliged to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and applicable legal regulations. By using the Service, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and fully agree to these Terms. In case of disagreement, the User must not continue using the Service.
- Technical requirements and limitations
- The compatibility of the User’s device (e.g. mobile phone, tablet, notebook) and its configuration for accessing the Wi-Fi network is the sole responsibility of the User. The Wi-Fi network is public, unsecured (unencrypted), and does not provide protection such as a firewall or antivirus software. The Provider recommends that Users use their own security tools (e.g. antivirus, firewall,
VPN). - The User is not allowed to connect their own access devices (e.g. hotspots, Wi-Fi extenders, etc.) to the network.
- The compatibility of the User’s device (e.g. mobile phone, tablet, notebook) and its configuration for accessing the Wi-Fi network is the sole responsibility of the User. The Wi-Fi network is public, unsecured (unencrypted), and does not provide protection such as a firewall or antivirus software. - Liability and service limitations
- The Provider is not liable for any damages arising in connection with the use of the Service, including data loss, damage to the User’s device or software. The Provider reserves the right to restrict or disconnect access in case of a breach of these Terms by the User.
- The Service is provided at the highest possible quality; however, no guarantee is given regarding availability, security, speed, or functionality. The Service may be suspended, restricted, or completely terminated at any time.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider disclaims liability for content shared by the User.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider disclaims liability for any direct, indirect, consequential, or other damages, including property damage, loss of profit, data loss, or business interruption arising from the use of the Service or reliance on published information.
- This limitation of liability does not apply in cases where such limitation would be contrary to mandatory provisions of the legal order of the Czech Republic.
- Prohibited conduct and User responsibility
- The User undertakes not to engage in any activities that could disrupt the functionality, security, or availability of the Service. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- overload the network by excessive downloading or streaming,
- spread malicious software or viruses,
- send unsolicited messages (spam),
- attempt unauthorized access to other devices or data,
- violate applicable laws or good morals.
- The User is responsible for ensuring that shared content does not infringe the rights of third parties. A breach of these Terms may result in immediate blocking of access to the Service, and in case of serious violations, the Provider may take legal action.
- The User is not authorized to share the password (Login/Password) for access to the Provider’s wireless network with third parties. The User is liable for damages caused to the Provider or third parties by breaching this obligation.
- The User undertakes not to engage in any activities that could disrupt the functionality, security, or availability of the Service. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- Changes to the Terms
- The Provider reserves the right to unilaterally change these Terms at any time without prior notice. The current version of the Terms is always available on the Provider’s website or upon connecting to the network.
- Final provisions
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which remain fully effective. Legal relations not governed by these Terms shall be subject to the relevant provisions of applicable laws and the legal order of the Czech Republic.
